Cozy and Comfy beachfront w/great view! Pools and Gym!

Amazing place to stay - the area is quiet and chill. The beach was never crowded (in July!) - there were even rock formations a short walk down the beach that made for cool seashell hunting. Our favorite place was the window seat in the living room - perfect spot to sit and watch the ocean. Our 2 year old LOVED all the toys and books available. He loved the train set and the car rug. We could not have asked for a better place to stay on the beach - cannot wait to come back!

Fantastic location! The scenery is breathtaking! We traveled with our children, both very young it was seamless. They had tons of games and puzzles to keep them occupied, and going on the beach with them was extremely easy with how close we were to the water!

Very beautiful Airbnb! Located right next to the beach few steps from the sand and there is a lot of cool places to explore nearby. Beach views were amazing and so pretty at night! Airbnb was pleasant inside and clean.

We had the best time! The condo looks just like the photos. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite so close to the water. It was fabulous!! The condo was also clean and had a great selection of toys to entertain our little one. We will definitely be back!

I had started out planning a trip for May 2 - May 5. Somewhere along the line, I accidentally selected Carolina Stays not realizing that my search dates had also changed. I didn’t realize my dates were off until after I had paid. Thinking I’d be able to change my dates, I reviewed the cancelation policy only to find out that I couldn’t get my money back. Angrily, I embarked on the trip considering I didn’t want to lose money. Along the way, I got a call from the owner of Carolina Stays; it was perhaps one of the most pleasant business related convos I’ve had in a very long time. Not only was she understanding and empathetic, she also offered to refund my money. Carolina Stays was exactly what I needed as regards location, proximity to water, closeness to stores and restaurants and fully functional kitchen! We spent quite a bit of time on the balcony and it was amazing being able to sleep to the sounds of the waves hitting the shores! Definitely worth every penny and will be back

We enjoyed our stay. The location is great — right on the beach. And having the corner unit meant the view was really nice. The biggest issue I had was that the indoor pool was closed the whole time and the kids were disappointed.

Visited this location with two toddlers 3 and 4. There were little toys and books to occupy them. You’re right on the beach. That was nice to wake up to. The sun is blinding! 😂 there were quite a few rusty screws on the back porch and the wood is splintering up. Make sure you have shoes on if you’re on the porch. The shower in the master bathroom had a lot of black build up under the ledge and around the bars. There was also an open, used bar of soap left in there. It is really close to the Fort Fisher Aquarium. That was a plus. The kitchen was well-stocked with essential cooking and eating tools. The rec center has a heated indoor pool and hot tub. Great for our chilly weather trip. Overall we had a good trip.

We had a nice quiet post-Thanksgiving family visit. Enjoyed the ocean views and the sound of the surf. The indoor pool and hot tub in the Ocean Dunes Recreation Center across the street was convenient. We'd stay here again.

Great place right on the beach. Clean and fully furnished flat right on the beach with great deck facing the ocean. Easy check in and check out. Host very prepared with a book full of helpful information about various nearby activities. Hopefully will be back.
