The exquisite Tremont Cottage is rich in history and tradition and is only a one minute walk from a unique combination of cultural, recreational, dining, and shopping experiences. The Tremont has a private pool with a fenced in backyard, gas fire pit, outside dining table, and a pool table inside. This Cottage provides memorable experiences and comforts of home.
Set in the heart of the historic village, Tremont Cottage was built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts. Renovations and upgrades combine all the charm of an original Tufts Cottage with the modern conveniences everyone wants. The Tremont was carefully prepared to make guests feel welcomed and have all the comforts of home.
Four bedrooms, including two master suites (one on the first floor) and three full baths plus a powder room are furnished with period antiques and hand-knotted rugs throughout. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with special features including granite countertops and stainless appliances. One of the many amenities we provide are drip-brewed and Keurig coffee makers along with complimentary coffee to make your stay more comfortable. There is a large game room with a pool table, chess board, and board games in case you are not ready to wind down for the day.
French doors open to a beautiful brick terrace with lush landscaping and lighting that guides you to the refreshing pool and cozy fire pit. A large dining table awaits a gathering outside whether you are just relaxing or having a delicious lunch or dinner. This Cottage has everything you need for a perfect vacation!
One dog is allowed with a 50 pound weight limit. Please inquire if your pet weighs more for pre-approval. Please keep off furniture and crate when unattended.
