Cozy Family Retreat
This was our first VRBO booking and first trip to Beech Mountain. We were delighted with both! The condo was BEAUTIFULLY decorated in tasteful rustic/ski/mountain decor. It comfortably slept our family of five for our two-night stay. The condo is located a short drive from the summit of Beech Mountain, including the slopes and restaurants. It’s about a 15-minute drive down the mountain to the town of Banner Elk. We stayed for a weekend in August. There was no AC, but opening the windows and letting the cool mountain air in kept us comfortable. Fans were also provided by the property. We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the deck, taking in the cool mountain air, the wooded views and local wildlife. What a wonderful experience! It’s not the most spacious condo, but it’s gorgeous. We loved it!
