Happy Travels!Sunset Peak Getaway is less than 3 miles from the slopes of Ski Beech Resort, and is only a mile and a half from the Buckeye Recreation Center, which is open to all visitors for a small daily fee! The town of Banner Elk is less than 8 miles from the cabin; Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is about 11miles away. Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Zip Lines and Grandfather Mountain are both less than 19 miles away! The village of Valle Crucis is less than 16 miles away, and the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock are both about 25 miles away. Buckeye Lake is only a mile and a half away, and the Watauga Lake is about 20 miles away. There are lots of wonderful creeks and streams close to the cabin, as well as walking and hiking trails. The Elk, Linville, and Watauga Rivers are all convenient to the cabin as well!

This was a wonderful stay for us. We comfortably fit 6 people (3 couples) in the home. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. The grill and hottub were a wonderful addition. We'll be back!
